2026 Events

Our Events Dream Team is busy co ordinating and organizing a variety of events of interest to all our members. Please check back to this space regularly as we expect to update the list with new events on an on going basis!

April 11 Bowling extravaganza – This was a really fun event! Members and their guests competed for the golden plunger award, Best bowling dance/ball delivery, most dangerous bowler, Slowest bowling balls, and of course High score awards. All in fun of course as no one is a competitive or avid bowler. ! Dinner at a local pub provided time to nourish those underused muscles and party!

April 30 Sauna and Ice Bath Evening – Come join us for an evening experience on the South Shore of our beautiful province. Will will be spending the evening enjoying the beautiful seaside views, starry sky with out the city lights, herbal teas, at this resort with fabulous Sauna , Ice Bath and relaxation facilities. You need to be a BNC member to attend this event so submit your application for membership if you have not done so already as you will not to miss this event!!!

Pool Party September 6th (Replaces Beach Regatta)

On Sept sixth one of our members will be hosting a Pool Party and PotLuck for the entire Group. It is sure to be a fabulous time. Bring your voices and musical instruments. If it rains we will do a rain dance and celebrate the moisture, then move inside to continue festivities!!! Members only so make sure your membership application is completed before this fun event takes place. Splash Splash!!!!

Access to Beach

We understand the woods ban has been lifted and access to the beach is now available as of August 29th . Our previous statement is as follows “We fully support the province’s actions to protect the lives and property of citizens, firemen, and other first responders from wildfires during this dry hot weather. It is an inconvenience to not be able to get to our beach, However we would  rather be inconvenienced than  see our forests or citizens and first responders hurt in any way.  We are glad they made the decision  quickly in this emergency situation and  are satisfied  to receive more information  as it becomes available. “

New Flag

We have a new flag that you will see at our events! Sometimes you will see it displayed at the beach so you can find other members of the Bluenose Naturists at Crystal enjoying the sun. Feel free to come over to the flag area and get a new brochure on Beach Etiquette and information about our group.

Bowling Night Scheduled for May 3rd, 2025

Bowling night and supper will take place on May 3rd. This is members only and is a textile (not nude) event so no club uniforms 🙂 Traditionally a great night to socialize with other members , and catch up with friends! Well attended by club members!

Summer 2025 Events

Beach opening at Crystal Crescent

July 5th, 2025 There will be a casual gathering at the beach starting at 12 and going until 5PM. Bring your own food ,drink, and beach games. This event is open to the public, so please join us and learn a little more about our group and Naturism. You will find us at the third beach, look for the group having the most fun! and of course our group flag – Bluenose Naturists.

Camping Weekend

July 12, 2025( rain date July 19) We will be boarding a pontoon watercraft at Webbers campground, for a ten minute scenic ride to an Island in Lake Charlotte, Nova Scotia where we will camp overnight in a luxurious setting, both inside and outside the lodge. Camp fire with songs and some Guitar playing are likely. Bring a musical instrument and join in! We will be doing volleyball , lawn darts, axe throwing , Kayaking, croquet and more! Dress of the day is club uniform (nude) where appropriate. Come join the group before this date as the event is restricted to members only!

Picnic In Stewiacke

August 9, 2025 (rain date August 23) We will be visiting a remote farm with some very interesting features. Club Uniform (Naturist/Nude) is welcome of course. Lots of Naturist activities including games, and concluding with a naturist BBQ. Come join the group well before this date as the event is restricted to members only!

Regatta at Crystal Crescent – Cancelled due to woods restrictions

Cancelled – September 6 (rain date September 7) To be held at the beach. Bring games and floaties along with your own food/Drink. Water should be nice and warm by then for water activities/games. This event is open to the public, so please join us and learn a little more about our group and Naturism. You will find us at the third beach, look for the group having the most fun! and of course our group flag – Bluenose Naturists.
